Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships, Inc (SHIP) is a private non-profit organization located in Boise, Idaho dedicated to developing a holistic system to serve the needs of persons working in recovery from alcohol, drug addiction and substance abuse. The Second Chance Triad brings together clean and sober housing, detox and treatment, peer support and Green Jobs to create the systemic support and cultural change needed to support persons who have chosen the road to recovery. The basic function of SHIP is to provide people in recovery housing, job training, Green Jobs, and long-term support while they gain drug- and alcohol-free life skills. Second Chance Building Materials Center, Boise's first building materials reuse store, is run by SHIP.
