Recycled Art Show
Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships will be holding its 5th Annual Recycled Art Show on May 3rd, 2012. This event is held every year and has proven to be so much fun we opened REUSE Gallery inside Second Chance Building Materials Center. All of the artwork for the Recycled Art Show is created by local artists from recycled materials and donated to SHIP, then it is sold online through a silent auction. If you are interested in participating in this years event please contact Marie Schutt at mschutt@secondchanceboise.org for more information. If you would like to enter a piece please complete the Artist Entry Form.

Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships, Inc., (SHIP) is holding its first annual Run 4 Recovery September 8th 2012. The common thread throughout all of SHIP's programs is recovery from substance abuse. SHIP provides safe and sober housing for homeless veterans and other community members. SHIP also provides employment opportunities for persons in recovery through it social venture, Second Chance Building Materials Center.

This exciting new event is designed to enhance awareness about preventing substance abuse, accessing treatment in our community and providing support to our veterans who are working to re-build their lives.

The 5K run begins at Veteran's Memorial Park, continues along the scenic greenbelt and ends back at Veteran's Memorial Park. After the run, runners, families, friends and veterans are invited to particpate in the after party. The party will include music, food a raffle and informational booths about community programs.
