ARTIST INFORMATION
First of all, thank you so much for participating in this year’s
Recycled Art Show and Fundraiser for SHIP, Inc. Please take a moment to email
us a quick bio and image along with your website address if you have one.
Please send this information to Brittany Davis at: brittanydavis13@gmail.com
In addition, please include the name of your piece, a photo if you have one and the
estimated value of your piece. We have five doors that were donated to
SHIP from City Hall from the capital renovation project. If you think you may
want to incorporate these into your recycled art project let us know ASAP.
You can contact SHIP at 331-0900 and ask for Brittany.
Artist Reception:
Please be available to attend the artist reception on First Thursday,
April 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is our way of saying thank you to
all of you talented artists and also a way for the attendees to meet the
artists and discuss your creations.
Delivery of Art:
Please deliver your artwork on Thursday, April 1st between 9am and 12pm to
the Linen Building located at 1402 West Grove Street, Boise, ID 83702. www.thelinenbuilding.com
Displaying of Art:
Please be prepared to help hang or set up your art on a table as assigned.
If you have a stand and want to bring it -- please let us now in advance
by calling Brittany at 208 331-0900. You must pick up the stand at the end of the
event on Sunday April 4th, 2010 by 12 noon. We will have tables with black
table cloths to display art. If your art needs to be hung we will need to know by March 20th.
Important Dates:
Schedule for the Show: Linen Building Thursday, April 1st, 2010: 5PM-9PM
Opening, First Thursday and Artist Reception, Silent Bidding begins.
Friday, April 2nd, 2010: 10AM- 7PM Linen Building open for bidding
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010: 10AM-7PM Linen Building open for bidding
Sunday, April 4th, 2010: 9AM-12PM Linen Building Closing of Auction
Winners will be notified to pick up art. 12:00 PM Best of Show Announced.
